A new generation is coming Dacia Duster. After the little news of Dacia in the Geneva Motor Show 2016, next year will be completely renewed one of its most important models: Dacia Duster 2017 It will be much more modern, technological and attractive, not wanting to leave that label low cost SUV.
For starters, the new second-generation Duster will be based on the CMF modular platform the Renault-Nissan alliance, already used in many other models of the group. This will bring numerous improvements, for example in its dynamic behavior or structural rigidity, but there will be more, and its size will grow considerably.
The 2017 Dacia Duster will measure about 4.50 meters long, growing by almost twenty centimeters from the current. This increase will market a new seven-seat version, in addition to the standard five-seater. It will premiere efficient engines, highlighting the 1.2 TCe turbo, already offered in other models of Renault and the new Mégane: the Duster will offer 115 or 120 hp.
Also featured will be the 0.9 TCe 90 and known CV as well as diesel 1.5 dCi 90 hp or 110 hp, with manual or automatic piloted Easy-R. We hope in some of its versions approved average consumption below 4 liters / 100 km: a more elaborate aerodynamics and light weight will also collaborate to it.
It will be offered in 4x2 or 4x4 versions front traction, and Its design is a great unknown: Do not trust too much of these digital recreations made by the German edition of AutoBild, since the final appearance will vary greatly. Still, we expect a more attractive and modern style, without losing the robustness characteristic model
At Dacia Duster 2017 We will also see a more complete equipment in active and passive safety technology, and all remained at very competitive prices: its aim is not to compete with the Nissan Qashqai or Renault Kadjar. It will be officially presented by 2017, but as usual, in Motor.es we hope to show progress in their development through our spy photos.
